Mr. Carmack Releases Three New Tracks (September 20th)

Aaron just released three brand new tracks titled ‘Alright’, ‘Copy This’, which sonds like Credits Muzika, and an Alternative Version of the tune ‘Paces’. The original tune has been released on Carmack’s ‘Melodies, Vol. 1’ EP in 2011, you can check out all tunes below.

Natassia Gail Zolot, better known by her stage name Kreayshawn, is an American rapper, creative director of OK 1984 and music video director from Oakland, California. In 2011, while serving as a member of a rap group with her friends, she released the music video to her debut single "Gucci Gucci", to internet viral success. The popularity of the song and its video led to a recording contract with Columbia Records soon after. Introducing DJ AC

Way before Aaron has been killing the Soundcloud Game, back in 2009 when he had only his Reason and Sonic Foundry Acid, he was into Dubstep and was slowly capturing the new sound he’s so famous for nowadays. UK based rapper Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu also known as Tinie Tempah released last July his Diplo produced single titled ‘Trampoline’ with 2 Chainz from his second studio album Demonstration (2013), which debuted at number three in UK. Mr. Carmack: One To Watch

The track “Shroomeries” starts with a short Super Mario sample that pays fitting homage to its title. Suddenly, the sample stutters, elongates and fades in the context of an atmospheric, building saxophone lead… Then, the bass drops: a full, rich and booming foundation to that sultry saxophone lead that exemplifies well-composed beat production.

In 20 seconds flat of just one song in his exponentially-growing track record, Mr. Carmack shows more development in sound design than the majority of his peers. It’s why he’s currently making waves in the mainstream music scene, drawing attention from and working with the likes of Diplo and Pharrell. Los Angeles’ Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), one of the biggest record labels in hip-hop music today,  inked him to a production deal last fall.

In a matter of months, Carmack produced a beat for burgeoning TDE talent Isaiah Rashad. The beat now backs “Webbie Flow (U Like),” the second track on Rashad’s critically-acclaimed debut EP Cilvia Demo. All of this, and Mr. Carmack continues to stay active in the underground as well, working with independent labels like TeamSupreme and Soulection that feature his tracks for free download and in beat cyphers and compilations.

The Story About Mr. Carmack’s ‘Michale Giovanni’ Tune

If you can believe it,  there was some guy named Michale Giovanni in Hawaii (the same place where Mr. Carmack lives) who was selling Mr. Carmack’s music as his own on Bandcamp & iTunes. As this news broke out, it was plain to see & hear on his Bandcamp Page, but now after taking a look again, it seems the imposter has taken the music down.

It just goes to show you that people will do anything to make a cheap buck these days. We would suggest not taking someones music and selling it for yourself, especially when it’s a well known producer like Mr. Carmack. So as in some sort of response to this fuckery,  Mr. Carmack has let loose the track, ‘Michale Giovanni’. We don’t know if it was on old track or something that Carmack whipped up. It makes you ask the question… do we thank this imposter for the inspiration? Probably not, but at least Mr. Carmack turned this into a positive and gave us some new material to sit on.
